7 Home Business Tips - Part 2

4. Company Management? – If you are promoting somebody else's product, what are the leaders of the business like? What kind of history do these leaders have? Have they proven themselves? How's their reputation? Do they have a good history in their previous industery? That’s a great sign. You should always trust your gut about how you feel about company management. Research the company management thouroughly.

5. Does the company have Global Reach? Can the company expand? – What if your local market has been saturated, then what? Are you able to sell this product to a global market? North American, South America, Euorpe, Asia, worldwide. If it’s a consumable product (vitamins and juices) there are a lot of loops to jump through to even make that possible.

Information products are my preference because they are more universal and easier to sell internationally. You can also make the products downloadable. You can market this to any counrty of your choice. The infomations nich has tons of room for hitting a global market.

6. Pay Structure - What type of compensation structure is in place and how will you be getting paid? I prefer compensation plans that allow me to make big up front money (which allowed me to get out of my job much more quickly) but also look for a compensation plan that had a residual income aspect also so you don't have to work forever.

Look at the compensation plan, if it's too confusing for you to understand, it will probably be confusing for others who look at it as well. The last thing you want to be doing is explaining how the compensation works

I prefer compensation plans that are for bigger ticket items ($1,000 + per sale). If you're making $1,000 commission for each sale you make, you will create a snoball effect and gain momentum very fast and allow you to get out of your job and replace your income which will allow you to build your business.

You should only look at opportunities where you can make at least a 6-figure income or more in your first 12 months. The compensation pland should give you plenty of opportunty to realistically make some mula.

7. What about giving back?– This is a universal law, the more the company gives back the more it will get in return. This will, in turn, trickle down to you. A company with a soul is a company you want to be associated with. Is your company trying to make the world a better place? Will the world be a better place with your company in it? If you are inline with a company that shares your morals, than people will feel good about buying your products and services because you are being genuine about what you have to offer.
